Bruce Campbell Teases Involvement with Mortal Kombat 11

NetherRealm had recently dropped their first gameplay trailer for DLC character Shang Tsung, and the end teased some upcoming characters—including 2 mystery characters and the sound of a chainsaw. Some leaks from data miners found that Ash from Evil Dead was going to be playable, and now Bruce Campbell seems to have confirmed it.

This was his post on Twitter:

With Ash being part of a franchise that goes hand in hand with cartoonish violence, it was only a matter of time before Mortal Kombat made him a playable character. We don't know when we're going to see any gameplay for Ash, but I think it's likely something will drop before the year ends.

Besides Ash, the other mystery character is expected to be the T-800 from Terminator. We don't know if Arnold Schwarzenegger will reprise the role for the game, or if the T-800 is coming to the game at all, but with if the leaks were able accurately tell us the announced characters, the Terminator is a very likely another accurate leak.

No release date has been set for the other DLC, but we know that Shang Tsung becomes available on June 18.

Mortal Kombat 11 is now playable for Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
