For years we've been watching BoJack Horseman follow the depressing journey of one famous horse, and now Netflix is set to end the show with its sixth season. With the first half of the season coming out in the middle of the week, we have a new Rewind teaser walking us through BoJack's journey since Season One.
Admittedly, the show actually got more depressive as it went along, and almost every kind of issue seemed to be addressed from depression to loneliness to drug addiction. Then again, I can understand that we can't have BoJack be miserable forever, hence the final season will have him finally coming to peace with himself.
Of course, BoJack isn't the only one going through an emotional journey with this show. We've also followed the evolution of several other characters like Princess Carolyn, Diane Nguyen, and Todd Chavez. Heck, it even looks like they're finally giving Mr. Peanutbutter a serious arc after watching him be optimistic for years.
I love this show, and I'm sure a lot of people have found solace when it comes to BoJack Horseman and its exploration into an existential crisis. We don't know if any other show like it is going to come out, but hopefully, Raphael Bob-Waksberg has something interesting on the way.
Catch the first half of BoJack Horseman Season 6 when it airs on Oct. 25. The second half comes out Jan. 31, 2020.
