Black Widow's Costumed Villain Kind of Resembles A Power Rangers Baddie

Despite Kevin Feige denying that the film is in the works, Black Widow is currently undergoing production, and just recently we got a look at the costumed villain for the series which everyone is assuming as the Taskmaster. What's funny is he kind of looks like Lord Zedd from Power Rangers.

This was pointed out by artist BossLogic:

It's funny that this character should get the Power Rangers villain comparison because the same thing happened when X-Men: Apocalypse came out. When we got our look at Oscar Isaac's En Sabah Nur, everyone was making comparisons to Ooze from Power Rangers.

Though there is no official source saying that the costumed character in the photos is Taskmaster, it's said that you can actually see the skull outline on his face if you got a clearer picture. And as you can see from the side, he also has his trademark hood from the comics, it's just let down for now.

With this being a prequel film, I'm kind of hoping that Taskmaster makes it out alive in the end. Besides clashing with Widow, there are a lot of fans who want to see him go head-to-head with Spider-Man at some point. Maybe he can even be an adversary for whoever the next Widow will be—likely Florence Pugh who everyone suspects are playing Yelena Belova.

No release date has been set for Black Widow, but a lot of fans are guessing that the film comes out sometime late next year.
