Black Adam Script is ‘DC Fans' Wonderland’

After Shazam!, a lot of people are curious about what to expect with spinoff Black Adam starring Dwayne Johnson. We have been getting several rumors about the script, but now we have a description from The GWW's Thomas Polito.

This is his post regarding the script:

With the Doctor Fate GIF used in the post, I think we can almost be sure that Fate is indeed going to make an appearance in the show. Other rumored inclusions to the film include Hawkman and Hawkgirl, and we're also said to be running into the Justice Society of America.

Then again, we should take this with a grain of salt. It's possible that things could change down the line, especially with COVID-19 currently putting everything on hold.

Seeing as the DCEU has been trying to get back up on its feet, it's going to be interesting to see what a movie like Black Adam can bring to the table. Hopefully, we get a better performance out of the Rock this time around because it feels like he's only been playing one kind of character in all his recent films. I would love to see him be stoic and hardened like Adam was in the comics; it would be a great foil to the already silly Captain Marvel/Billy Batson.

For now, Black Adam is set for a 2021 release date, but with the Coronavirus shutting down all productions and releases, we could be looking at a delay. It's only a matter of time before the announcement. Then again, fingers crossed everything will be back to normal by the time June rolls in.

Black Adam is set for a release on Dec. 22, 2021.
