Avengers Endgame: Tony Stark's Final Message as Iron Man

Avengers: Endgame had Iron Man's last words before his death be, "I am Iron Man," but we actually still got to listen to a recorded message that Tony prepared before the team did their time jump. The speech is actually pretty long, and you can read it here, complete with "I love you 3000."

With Tony starting out as one of the most selfish characters in the MCU, it's really fantastic to see how he's changed over the course of 11 years. While I would have preferred that he got a happy ending and got to live with his family, I guess I can consider the five years he spent just living his life outside of the Avengers as the reward he got for saving the planet more than once.

For now, everyone is looking to Spider-Man to be the new Iron Man of the franchise, but I'm sure the MCU will find someone else to take on the mantle soon. The comics had Ironheart a.k.a. Riri Williams, and maybe she could be brought up by Rhodey who is still pretty much alive. Maybe Morgan Stark will take the role, but I guess that would be too predictable.

Avengers: Endgame is already starting to lose its fire, but everyone is still expecting it to become one of the highest-grossing films of all time. Personally, I think it would be well-deserved, seeing as we've waited 11 years for a movie that culminates all of the MCU.

Catch Avengers: Endgame still in theaters.
