Batman v Superman Wins Against Avengers, Deadpool & Furious 7 in Presale Tickets

Warner Bros.' Batman v Superman:Dawn of Justice is currently raking in the big bucks with opening-weekend presale tickets.

According to Deadline, sources from inside and outside of the studio says that the film has already earned $20-25 million. The presale numbers has broken the record of big blockbusters such as The Avengers,Deadpool, and Furious 7.

In February, Deadpool opened to $132 million while Furious 7 opened to $147 million last year.

According to a non-studio analysis, the Batman v Superman presale audience is male in majority, which account for around 80% of opening-night presale tickets. By retrospect, Jurassic World opened to 64% in presale tickets, breaking the opening-weekend record of The Avengers briefly, which was later broken again by Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The report noted that the current ticket presale numbers of Batman v Superman is comparable to ticket presale numbers of The Dark Knight Rises. If Dawn of Justice ticket presales match or exceed The Dark Knight Rises, the DC film will have set a new Easter weekend record as well as a new March opening record, overcoming TheHunger Games' $152 million record.

Still, if Batman v Superman doesn't overtake TheHunger Games' record, the film will still take the #2 spot.

It's a promising start for the DC Extended Universe. Hopefully, the film will be as promising as its ticket presale numbers.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will open in theaters on March 25.
