Obama's favorite film this year is Ridley Scott's The Martian, which starred Matt Damon as a NASA astronaut stranded on Mars. Last year, Barack picked Richard Linklater's 12-year-project Boyhood as his favorite. The First Lady's favorite was the Disney-Pixar animated film Inside Out. (Watch the funny Honest Tralier here)

Favorite TV show? Barack's favorite is Cinemax's The Knick, starring Clive Owen as a talented but drug-addicted surgeon in New York during the early part of the twentieth century. Michelle likes ABC's comedy, Black-ish.
