Avengers: Jim Starlin Says Fans Won't Be Disappointed With Thanos

Avengers: Infinity War is coming out next year and fans are still irate about the lack of a trailer. That being said, there is no doubt that there is a ton of hype and excitement for Infinity War and its unnamed sequel. While fans can't wait to see this movie, Thanos co-creator Jim Starlin has assured fans of the Mad Titan that the character will be portrayed faithfully in these two films.

On Facebook, Starlin talked about his visit to the set of the upcoming Avengers movies and he was very impressed. Apparently, the people there were very open about what would happen in the movies and Starlin seemed happy with how they handled Thanos. Without spoiling the events of the two films, Starlin went out of his way to tell fans that Thanos they won't be disappointed.

We've only seen Thanos three times in the MCU, two of which were performed by Josh Brolin. In the first Avengers, we saw a hint of Thanos' faithful characterization when he smiled at one of his assistants when they said going after the group would "court death." Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel were the only films to mention the Mad Titan by name, with Gamora and Nebula describing how sadistic he is.

Avengers: Infinity War is slated for a May 4, 2018, release. The unnamed Avengers sequel will come out on May 3, 2019.
