Avengers: Infinity War might already have a family-friendly PG-13 rating, but it looks like the film got some censorship in Indonesia in preparation for its release later this month.

Avengers directors Joe and Anthony Russo were both surprised when they learned about the Film Censorship Institution’s decision to cut some footage out of Infinity War so that the film might be able to fit their version of the PG-13 rating today.

The directors were told about the edits during the Singapore leg of Marvel’s global city press tour for the first installment in their two-part Avengers movie, and Joe’s reaction was caught by CNA Lifestyle.

“I can’t image what seven minutes they would want to cut out of the movie. It’s the first we’re hearing of it so we’re a little taken aback, but yes, of course as an artist you don’t want anybody censoring anything or taking anything out of the film. This is a PG-13 movie, it’s not like it’s some radical piece of content so I’m a little shocked.”

Marvel’s films have always been pretty tame and family friendly, so it comes as quite a surprise that Indonesia’s Film Censorship Institute decided to take out parts of Infinity War just so that the film follows their guidelines. Guess different countries have different definitions of family-friendly fun, and it looks like Infinity War got the shorter hand.

Avengers: Infinity War premieres April 27.
