Avengers 4 Title Was Decided Early in Development

Now that fans have seen Avengers: Infinity War and helped make Marvel a ton of money, there is only one question on their mind; what is Avengers 4 going to be called? Originally announced as Avengers: Infinity War Part Two, the sequel's name was changed since the directors felt that each film would be completely different from one another.

After the events of Infinity War, fans are more impatient than ever for the unnamed Avenger 4. While we have to wait till next year, The Russo Brothers have told Bustle that they actually came up with the second film's name early on. Though the two didn't give anything away, they feel that this installment title will speak to the heart of the story.

"We do have a name for it, we're just not announcing it. And I think we came to that name fairly early in the development process. It speaks to the heart of the story."

There have been a number of guesses from fans, one of the popular guesses being Avengers: Endgame, due to what Doctor Strange tells Iron Man at the end of Infinity War. Some are also speculating that it will be called Infinity Gauntlet, based on the popular story by Jim Starlin and Ron Lim, while others are just waiting for the announcement.

Until we know what the name is, fans will have to sit tight and hope that the title is a good one. Marvel head Kevin Feige feels that the hype for its reveal will leave everyone disappointed.

Avengers 4 comes out on May 3, 2019. Avengers: Infinity War is now showing in theaters.
