Despite some leaked promo art and some set photos, no one really knows what Avengers 4 will be about. The story will continue after the events of Infinity War and fans have seemingly pieced together that it will include some time travel, just like X-Men: Days of Future Past. If these new set photos are anything to go by, it looks like that theory is becoming more likely.
Atlanta Magazine was able to take a few quick pictures after some shooting for the anticipated movie. Unlike previous set photos, these don't actually have any of the Avengers in it. These photos actually focus on the setting, which looks a lot like the first Avengers movie.
Similar debris from the battle of New York is seen, which isn't too surprising. Previous photos have shown characters like Captain America, Tony Stark, Thor, and even Loki in their original attires from The Avengers. Ant-Man was also spotted in some of the older set photos, hinting once again at the time travel theory.
How the current crop of heroes plan on doing this feat is still unknown, especially since the Time Stone is gone and Victor Von Doom, who invented time travel in the comics, has not been introduced to the MCU.
Avengers 4 is slated to hit theaters on May 3, 2019. It probably won't be called Avengers: Days of Future Past.
