Although we still have to wait a couple of years, a set of new set photos confirm that Pepper Potts will return.
The Avengers 4 set photos, taken by Backgrid, were recently shared on Twitter, and they show Paltrow standing on set with Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey Jr. Paltrow is seen wearing a casual outfit with black tank-top and white slacks.
Sharp-eyed fans pointed out that Paltrow is wearing a ring on her left-hand, and it appears to be an engagement ring. Since the actress is single, fans believe that the ring hints her character's engagement to Tony Stark, so we might see a wedding in Avengers 4.
The photo doesn't reveal Pepper's role in the story, and we still don't know how the fourth Avengers film will be connected to Avengers: Infinity War.
Avengers: Infinity War is set to release in theaterson May 4, 2018, and its yet-untitled sequel on May 3, 2019.
