Avengers 4 Directors on When The First Trailer Will Be Released

Like millions of other Marvel fans around the world, you've probably seen Avengers: Infinity War by now, so it's time to get excited for Avengers 4. However, we might have to wait longer to get our first official look at the sequel.

During an interview with Comicbook.com, the sibling directors Joe and Anthony Russo talked about what they have to do next with Marvel Studios as they're still trying to finish the still-untitled Avengers 4. It looks like fans will still have to wait a few months before the first trailer for the highly-anticipated sequel will be released.

"No idea," Joe Russo admitted. "We haven't cut any of the film together yet. We'll have to see. We'll get it set for the next two or three months." At this rate, it looks like fans won't be able to get a glimpse of Avengers 4 until after the release of Ant-Man and the Wasp in July.

The Avengers 4 directors went on to detail how far they're done from completing the film. "Joe and I always talk about it, there's this filmmaking adage that goes, 'You make a movie three times over: when you write it, when you shoot it, and when you edit it,'" Anthony Russo added. "And so, right now, we have not edited that movie at all. So we haven't even gone through that whole phase of finding that film. Not only that, we haven't even completely finished shooting it. We still have to shoot some stuff to complete the movie and even though we've shot the vast majority of it."

The Russos also recently revealed the closest guess to the actual Avengers 4 title. It will probably take a few months as well before we find out the sequel's actual title. Maybe the first teaser will reveal what Avengers 4 is called.
