The highly-anticipated second season of Hajime Isayama's anime/manga phenomenon Attack on Titan is finally coming next year, and now the premiere date has finally be confirmed with additional information on what to expect on the upcoming season. It was confirmed that Season 2 will premiere on February 2017.

Game and Guide reports that the production has recently finalized everything for Attack on Titan Season 2, including its storyline and new characters of the story. If you've been keeping up with the manga, you'd probably know what to expect. It's unlikely that they will add characters who were never introduced in the manga.

According to Ecumenical News, the storyline of Attack on Titan Season 2 will include the chapters "Clash of the Titans" and "Uprising Arcs." One of the new characters is allegedly going to be in a form of another massive Titan, but this is not just an ordinary Titan. It will have a high level of intelligence similar to a human, and will have the ability to speak. The Titan will also be able to change into human form at will just like the others, and will reportedly be called Zeke in its human form.

So are you excited for Attack on Titan Season 2? Do you think it will be better than the first season?
