Attack on Titan 3DS Game Gets New Trailer

Get ready for some more Attack on Titan news. Following new hints of the impending second season of Attack on Titan, Koei Tecmo's Ruby Party has released a new trailer for its newest game for the franchise.

Titled Shingeki no Kyojin: Shichi Kara no Dasshutsu (translated to Attack on Titan: Escape from the Brink of Death), the game is slated for launch on the Nintendo 3DS. As the title implies, the game will feature the familiar faces and voices seen in the anime.

The new trailer shows some of the familiar faces seen in the anime. Most of them are returning to the game so that makes this even more exciting—granted, that you already know the secrets of some of the Survey Corps members not yet showcased in the anime.

The trailer also showcases some of the grotesque titan. The main cast is complete, and we keep hearing the word "nakama," which pretty much means comrade. The Attack on Titan game is supposed to feature an original storyline that puts the player as a member of the Survey Corps.

Their mission is to scout a castle beyond the walls, fend off titans, and find a way to escape and regroup with your allies while having a broken 3D maneuver.

This may not be so easy, considering that parting words, roughly translated by Anime News Network as "You and me, allies? Heh, what a joke." From the voice and the silhouette, that has to be Levi so that was a twist I wasn't expecting.

Attack on Titan: Escape from the Brink of Death will be out in Japan on March 30.
