Attack On Titan 2 Lets Players Create Their Own Protagonist

Koei Tecmo recently showed off 30 minutes of gameplay for next year's Attack on Titan 2, which will be coming out on the PS4, PS Vita, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. While the visuals aren't too different from last year, fans will be ecstatic to know that the game will boast a robust create-a-character mode. Players will be able to mess with a number of customization options, so they can look like their ideal anime character.

In the video (at around the 22:30 mark) players can see the create-a-character at work. There are plenty of options for players to mess around with, and they can even give their characters big heads if they wanted to. Created characters can take part in the game's story mode, where they will experience the stories of the first two seasons from a unique perspective.

The story mode will also let players spend time and talk with the various characters from the anime. Players will be able to fulfill requests and see their relationship grow with the various anime characters. Koei Tecmo has stressed that the relationship building is a big part of the game, but didn't elaborate on how impactful it would be.

Attack on Titan 2 will hit the aforementioned consoles above in March 2018.
