Arrow’s Black Canary Star Wants To Become Marvel’s X-23

20^th Century Fox might already have their own ferocious little sprite for X-23 but now that the studio's going to merge with Marvel, it looks like other actresses are eyeing to become the new Laura Kinney.

Speaking with Bounding Into Comics, Arrow actress Juliana Harkavy is asked which Marvel character she'd like to play if she gets the chance.

Though the television actress dropped hints that she was interested in storm, Harkavy told the publication that Wolverine was her favorite mutant character.

"All of the X-Men characters really intrigue me," Harkavy tells the publication. ""Wolverine is my favorite. And I don't know how I would live in that world, but I would love to at some point."

When the Black Canary actress learns that there' X-23 is currently holding the Wolverine title in Marvel Comics, Harkavy actually starts to gush.

"I had no idea. That's exactly who I would want to play like a thousand percent, that's so cool. That's so cool. I would love to do something like that," Harkavy explains.

While fans might reason that Harkavy is still currently playing Dinah Drake in DC's Arrow, crossing over to Marvel isn't entirely impossible. The only question though is whether Marvel will start recasting X-23 after that ferocious performance by the young Dafne Keen in Logan.

Arrow airs its episodes on the CW every Thursday night at 8 o r 7 c.
