As fans prepare for Dan Slott's final Amazing Spider-Man issues, Amazon UK might have just spoiled one of the bigger mysteries from his final arc, Go Down Swinging. Fans that want to go into this arc blind, they might want to avoid reading this. While Marvel could always change this reveal at the last minute, a recent variant cover for Amazing Spider-Man #799 has essentially confirmed the spoiler.

In the Amazon UK description for Amazing Spider-Man Vol. 9, it reveals that the Red Goblin is just Norman Osborn. The twist is he will be using the Carnage symbiote, which will make him ridiculously powerful and is bad news for Spidey.

Early bets were on Norman making a deal with Mephisto, due to the way Alex Ross drew the character. At the time, he seemed demonic and his powers were unknown. However, a recent variant cover from artist Ed McGuinness showed that the Red Goblin would have symbiote-like attacks, essentially confirming what the Amazon listing stated.
