Alden Ehrenreich Will Continue Being Han Solo After Solo: A Star Wars Story

A lot has been said about Solo: A Star Wars Story, with many looking forward to the film despite some of the production issues. The trailers have been pretty good and reports have claimed that director Ron Howard fixed whatever production issues plagued the film prior, so fans are much more optimistic.

It looks like Solo might be the start of a sub-franchise, as lead actor Alden Ehrenreich will continue playing Han Solo for future films. Fan reaction to this should be interesting.

Speaking with Esquire, Ehrenreich has revealed that he signed a multi-film deal to continue playing the beloved Star Wars character. The actor has a deal that will let him play as Han Solo for three films, with Solo presumably being the first in that trilogy.

If Ehrenreich is staying, one has to wonder if the other cast members will be staying as well. We will have to wait until Solo comes out to see if they all live, though we do know that Lando and Chewbacca survive. Emilia Clarke's Qi'ra is a bit of a wildcard, so it's not yet clear if she will be returning for any future installments.

Solo: A Star Wars Story comes out on May 25. Are you ready for more Han Solo movies?
