Ahsoka Voice Actress Teases Character's Return In Star Wars Rebels

Ahsoka Tano hasn't reappeared in Star Wars Rebels ever since that epic season 2 finale where Ezra was seduced by the Dark Side and the former Jedi Padawan was left battle Darth Vader by herself in a Sith temple. However, now that Rebels is returning with its fourth and final season on Disney XD, showrunner Dave Filoni has been having second thoughts about leaving the Togruta female out of the popular DisneyXD animated series.

Speaking in an interview with Yahoo! Ahsoka's voice actor Ashley Eckstein talks not just about the return of her character but also of the Force user's future in between the Dark Side and Light Side of the Force.

"I want to know more about Ahsoka's future as this kind of neutral character," said Eckstein. "Her lightsabers are white because she's neutral. She's not on the Dark Side, she's not a Jedi. She's not even a full-blown Rebel. What is she doing? Where is she? All I can say is, you'll see Ahsoka again."

Eckstein's been voicing Ahsoka ever since the character's debut in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and she knows the character the most. While Ahsoka's return in season 4 of Rebels is yet to be fully confirmed, the voice actress' teasing remarks coupled with Filoni's hints are encouraging enough to keep hope burning. Fans just love Ahsoka too much and it would be unforgivable for Rebels to come to an end without her making an appearance.

Star Wars Rebels will return with its fourth season on DisneyXD sometime in fall this year.
