20th Century Fox Is Reportedly Considering An Alien TV Series

It looks like there's a new rumor going around that the Alien franchise might be making its way to the small screen soon enough.

According to Omega Underground, multiple sources have told them that 20^th Century Fox is actually considering creating a television show set in the Alien Universe. Though the report doesn't go into detail what this Alien-based show might entail, the publication writes that Fox is currently facing a dilemma about the possible networks the Alien television show is going to air in with the studio wondering whether it should release the series on a network like FX or whether it should put the series in a streaming service platform like Netflix's.

Right now, the rumors been sparking speculation that the series might focus on the stories of colonists or colonial marines, featuring the Xenomorphs and opening the franchise up to new extraterrestrial terrors.

Of course, like with any rumor, fans ought to take this new report with a grain of salt. We can only really celebrate the moment Fox makes the announcement themselves, for now, fans have to stick to the films that they already have. It might not sound entirely impossible for Fox to start thinking about an Alien television show, but we'll never be entirely sure till the studio gives us confirmation.
