Will Avengers Tower Become The Fantastic Four's Baxter Building?

Did Marvel Studios somehow predict the Fox acquisition? Late 2017 we got the news that Disney has officially bought 20th Century Fox, with the intention to give Fantastic Four and X-Men back to Marvel Studios. What we didn’t notice was earlier in July, it seemed that Spider-Man: Homecoming had already planted the seed that would tease the arrival of the Fantastic Four.

As speculated on by ScreenRant, it’s possible that the Avengers Tower could very well end-up becoming the Baxter Building—the headquarters of the Fantastic Four. Homecoming had a whole plot device where Happy Hogan was in charge of moving all the equipment from the old tower to the new facility; so what happens to Avengers Tower now?

In the comics, Reed Richards and the rest of the FF had used the top five floors of the Baxter Building to house his experiments and research materials. With the tower already filled to the brim with Stark tech, it wouldn’t be so impossible to have Mister Fantastic and his family of heroes to find their new home there.

Of course, this is all still speculation, but it’s the perfect way to link the new Fantastic Four to the already established MCU. It may be years before we get to see a new team, but hopefully Marvel Studios gets it right. They did do wonders with Sony’s Spider-Man.

Will Avengers Tower become the Baxter Building? We’ll just have to wait and see what Marvel does with it.
