This Awesome Art Series Merges Game of Thrones and Star Wars Characters

Artist Andrew D. Tran awesomely mashed up Star Wars and Game of Thrones characters in an original art series. He dubbed this series "Game of Star Wars" and reimagined six different Game of Thrones characters in Star Wars universe. You can see this series both on Andrew Tran's website andDeviantart.

These characters included a mashup of Tyrion Lannister and Han Solo titled "Tyrion Lannister the Imp Scoundrel". Both characters are indeed very tricksy.

He made Daenerys Targaryen a Jedi General and a "Mother of Rancors". Rancors are reptilian carnivores native to the planet Darthomir. One was seen in Return of the Jedi as a pet of Jabba the Hutt, who would feed it people who displeased him. The monstrous creatures are a good equivalent to the dragons of the Game of Thrones universe.

Arya Stark trades her sword in for a lightsaber and becomes a Jedi Padawan. As a girl who really loves her fighting, this is a role she would surely relish.

The Night King, the mysterious leader of the undead White Walkers, is reimagined as a scary looking Sith Lord, "The Sith Night King". You can see his ferocious army behind him.

And last but not least, Jaime Lannister trades in the title of "Kingslayer" for "Sith Slayer". That's certainly a far more honorable nickname to have, and Jaime sports a metal hand reminiscent of Luke Skywalker's.

What do you think of this mashup? Do the reimagined roles suit these characters? What other characters would you like to see combined?
