Frank Frazetta, the legendary comic book artist known for his works with Conan the Barbarian and the Molly Hatchet album cover, created some impressive fantasy illustrations that catapulted him to fame. His works for The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings were originally published as a limited (to 1,000) numbered and signed portfolio in 1975, which capture J.R.R. Tolkien's epic in Frazetta's brilliant style.
