Darth Vader Becomes Negan in This Star Wars/The Walking Dead Crossover Art

Just when you thought Darth Vader couldn't get more ruthless than what we've seen in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, the Dark Side just got darker with his transformation into Negan, The Walking Dead's deadly villain.

In this new artwork posted to The Walking Dead executive producer Greg Nicotero's Instagram account,  Darth Vader is seen holding Negan's signature barbed wire-wrapped baseball bat, Lucille. He's backed by an army of stormtroopers and there's a couple of Resistance pilots on their knees. There's even a couple of AT-STs illuminating the scene.

Executive Producer Tom Luse said in a Q&A that The Walking Dead will have a few similarities to Star Wars when the second half of the second season begins.  "This is the Rebel Alliance fighting back against the Empire," Luse said. "We all want that coming together of all these great characters, for them to see each other and realize that they as a group are strong because of the love and respect they show to each other. They know what that means and that gives them strength as well."
