This 2,186-piece custom Serenity unofficial LEGO set is now available as an unlicensed, unofficial set even though it didn't win a coveted spot as one of LEGO's community-sourced CUUSOO. The set, which is sold for $385 by Etadyne Industries, was created by tbone_tbl, and it is now available as an unofficial, unlicensed set, which comes with a light-up drive and builds a two-foot-long ship. Etadyne also offers minifigs of the Serenity crew (sold separately), which also includes Jayne's hat in plastic. This LEGO set won't let you built the seven-foot Serenity from this year's Brickfair, but it's still shiny in its own way.
