The first official trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi gave fans across the galaxy an exhilarating look at characters, creatures, and planets both old and new. However, for as much substance as the trailer manages to cram into just three minutes of footage, there’s still a number of things already confirmed for The Last Jedi that were conspicuous by their absence.

Why they were omitted is anyone’s guess, but we here at Epicstream want to ensure they’re not forgotten in the buildup to the highly anticipated eighth chapter in the ongoing Star Wars saga. Here are 9 things missing from the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer:

#10- Present-Day R2-D2

Feature Detail

Before he was replaced BB-8 (who’s soon to be, if not already replaced by porgs), R2-D2 was every adult Star Wars fan’s favorite droid and every child Star Wars fan’s favorite toy. However, despite accompanying Rey to Ahch-To in the closing moments of The Force Awakens, we only see R2 for a brief moment alongside Luke in a recycled flashback shot the destruction of the new Jedi Temple.

#9- C-3PO

Feature Detail

While R2-D2 at least appears in a flashback, his well-mannered, golden-bodied, red-armed counterpart doesn’t show his face at all. Neither droid had too big of a role in The Force Awakens, but considering they’ve both been in every live-action Star Wars film to date, including Rogue One, it’s safe to say C-3PO will show up in some capacity.
