X-Men '97 actor JP Karliak has played coy on his potential involvement in season 2, which is currently in the works.
Prior to the premiere of the series, multiple reports confirmed that Marvel Studios was already working on season 2 and 3 with former showrunner Beau DeMayo penning the scripts prior to his firing last month.
So far, the details regarding the show's season 2 remain under wraps as the airing of the first season is still ongoing, but fans are delighted that the series is expected to continue its run for more seasons.

X-Men '97 Actor JP Karliak Discusses Season 2
In an exclusive interview with Epicstream, we asked Karliak whether he has already started working on season 2 of X-Men '97.
While he didn't share any details regarding his potential involvement in the next two seasons, he expressed his hope that Morph won't be killed off prematurely and will have a continuing presence in the series.
"I don't know if I can. You're right, as a matter of fact, there's even a season 3 that's been greenlit. Am I in though? I don't know," Karliak said.
"All I would say is that I hope that after everything that Morph has been through since the last series, maybe we don't kill him off rather quickly. We'll see."
With Morph slowly becoming a beloved character in the new series, fans are also hoping that they will be part of season 2 and continue becoming a major team player.
Morph's presence in season 2 will be dependent on how their journey will play out in the upcoming episodes and, just like what Karliak said, let's hope that the character won't meet a deadly fate by the end of the first season.
