William Hurt's Thaddeus Ross Becomes MCU's Red Hulk in Awesome New Teaser

There is little doubt that Thaddeus 'Thunderbolt' Ross is one of the most subtly interesting characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Portrayed by William Hurt, Ross has played a small but important role in the films as he tried to control the superheroes. But is it possible that he could eventually take on his comic book alter ego? A new fan-made teaser imagines Hurt's character as the Red Hulk.

The teaser was shared on Instagram and depicts Ross as the moustachioed version of the Red Hulk complete with a cigar. Check it out below.

It's an awesome idea considering that Marvel fans have been hoping to see the Red Hulk in the MCU. In addition to that, people are convinced that Hurt could still portray Ross' alter ego with the help of some CGI. On the other hand, it is still unclear whether Marvel Studios actually has plans of introducing Red Hulk in any of the future films. Nevertheless, we're keeping our fingers crossed on this one.

Hurt first played Ross in 2008's The Incredible Hulk before reappearing in Captain America: Civil War. The character also played a role in Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame. Hurt is expected to return in Black Widow where his character is on the hunt for Scarlett Johansson's Natasha Romanoff.

Black Widow was initially scheduled for release on May 1. However, the premiere has been postponed due to the Coronavirus outbreak (COVID-19). For now, the film has not yet been given a new release date. Stay tuned for more updates on this story.
