Will Smith Teases Deadshot’s Nasty Fight Scene with Batman in Suicide Squad

Suicide Squad may be a film about antiheroes, but that doesn't mean that the movie's storyline will revolve entirely around them. Case in point is Batman's (Ben Affleck) scenes in the upcoming DC film.

Previews have so far revealed the Dark Knight chasing Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and The Joker (Jared Leto).

However, in a recent interview with Fandango, Will Smith teased that his character Deadshot will face off with Batman at some point in the movie, saying:

The Bat does cross my path... and, ya know, it's not completely pleasant.

The 47-year-old actor did not further specify how the fight will go down and how Deadshot will cross paths with Batman, but I'm expecting the fight to be badass, knowing the personality of Affleck's Batman and Smith's Deashot. It's highly likely that Batman will be the one to put Floyd Lawton behind bars.

On Wednesday, the actor also mentioned his desire to suit up as Batman in an interview with MTV. He even made reference to the comics where Deadshot attempts to replace the Dark Knight's after Bruce gets injured. This doesn't work though, and the character then tries to become king of Gotham's Underworld.

We likely won't see that in Suicide Squad, but it's possible that Smith hinted Deadshot's appearance in the Batman solo film in the MTV interview.

Suicide Squad arrives in theaters on August 5.
