Why Kylo Ren Repeatedly Punched His Own Wound In Star Wars: The Force Awakens

Star Wars: The Force Awakens had been released in theaters months ago and the movie’s DVD/Blu-ray copies are also already out in the market. However, that doesn’t mean there’s no detail that can no longer be picked upon in the film. Theories continue since the movie left a lot of questions and mysteries unsolved. Nevertheless, there are still some mysteries in the film that some people have tried to answer.

One of this is the scene where Kylo Ren continuously punched his own bowcaster wound while facing off with Finn and Rey.

It really is puzzling, but to be honest, I didn’t give the scene a second thought since I just figured Kylo to be a masochistic maniac villain.

Apparently though, part of my assumption is true. Well, possibly true.

A new video fromStar Wars Minute has attempted to explain why Kylo Ren repeatedly punched his own, assumingly very painful wound. Turns out it was more than adrenaline, it was a way to gain more Force powers.

Check out the video below:

The explanation is surprisingly viable. The mention of Darth Bane and Darth Maul actually supports the narrator’s theory even more.

Do you think this explanation is plausible?
