Why Emilia Clarke Isn’t Starring In Any More Terminator Movies

When Emilia Clarke starred as Sarah Connor in 2015's Terminator: Genisys, the 29-year-old English actress further it established herself as a major player in the geeky pop culture genre.

From Mother of Dragons to apocalyptic fighter, it appears Clarke can do just about anything. Apparently though, the actress no longer has plans to star in more Terminator films.

In an interview with ComingSoon.net, she simply said "No," and added:

Can I say that? It's okay. No. Uh-uh. But I have some very different roles coming up.

It's worth noting that the actress will star in the romantic drama, Me Before You in June, so she could be exploring other projects that are less sci-fi and fantasy and more heavy drama.

As for the Terminatorfranchise, the sequel of Genisys remains unknown. Worldwide, the movie raked in $440 at the box office. However, its earnings domestically wasn't so satisfactory, with only $89 million. As a result, Paramount has pulled the sequel from its release schedule.

In any case, we'll see more of Clarke in Game of Thrones when the show premieres its sixth season on Sunday, April 24, on HBO. Me Before You will be out June 3.
