Kimi ni Todoke Manga Ending Explained
Kimi ni Todoke has over 100 chapters, chronicling the growing relationship between the shy and socially inept Kuronuma Sawako and her love interest, the cheery, sociable, and handsome Kazehaya Shouta.
They are accompanied by interesting supporting characters such as Ayane and Pin, Ryuu and Chizuru, and Ume and Kento, who all play important roles in the romantic evolution of the two main characters.
In the final chapter, Kuronuma is preparing to leave for university, which means she will be away from Kazehaya, her friends, and even her family for four years, which will be a first for her.
It’s scary, but Kuronuma is more than willing to broaden her horizons to become a better person even if it means making new friends all over again.
Before her trip, Chizuru and Kazehaya made an appearance to send her off. While Chizuru gets worried about Kuronuma, she is also rooting for her to do her best.
Of course, Kazehaya was late to arrive at the scene. Chizuru then gave the couple some alone time to say their goodbyes to one another.
Kazehaya boldly kisses Kuronuma in public and even hands her a letter that contains his feelings, aspirations, and assurances to her. Before they part ways, Kuronuma kisses Kazehaya back.
The final chapter ends with Kazehaya waiting for Kuronuma in their usual spot, years after she graduated from university.

So, Who Ends up Together in Kimi ni Todoke?
After facing numerous challenges and misunderstandings throughout the series, Sawako and Kazehaya end up together in Kimi ni Todoke.
Chizuru Yoshida, on the other hand, is in a relationship with her childhood friend, Ryuu Sanada, despite her unrequited feelings for his brother, Toru, at the beginning of the series.
Meanwhile, Ayano did not end up with Pin, despite a lot of fans shipping them together. It is implied, though, that the two will likely start dating each other at some point in the future.
Lastly, Ume Kurumizawa, who initially had feelings for Kazehaya, finally met her soulmate in Eiji Akahoshi, the protagonist of Kimi ni Todoke Unmei no Hito.
