Watch What Finding Nemo Looks Like When Told In Emoji

Finding Dory may be swimming into theaters and into our hearts very, very soon, but its sequel, Finding Nemo, continues to touch our hearts unto this day.

As such, the sequel has gotten a modern re-telling with a new featurette released viaDisney’s official YouTube channel. The wordless featurette shows the story of Finding Nemo in emojis, set against an iPhone backdrop.

It’s not the first time that Disney has created these crafty emoji renditions of its films. Among its wonderful emoji videos re-enacting popular movies include one of Frozen and even Star Wars: The Force Awakens. While the idea for the featurette certainly isn’t new, it’s still pretty cool and fun to watch as it makes use of emojis as the characters’ emotions and Nemo, Marlin, Dory, and other characters shown as tiny icons.
