Watch USA's MegaBot Mark II Prepare For Next Year's Giant Robot Battle.

"For everyone who dreamt of sitting in a giant fighting robot as a kid, it is exactly as awesome as expected". 

Back in July, the USA company MegaBots Inc. challenged the Japanese company Suidobashi Heavy Industry to a giant robot duel: Megabot's Mark II robot vs. Suidobashi's Kurata. And Suidobashi founder Kogoro Kurata accepted the challenge, asking if the duel can be fought as a physical melee rather than with the MegaBot Mark II's paintball guns.

Now, the American company is preparing for next's year epic event. Quartz visited them to give us a closer look at the Mark II giant robot. They also did an interview with one of the founders of Megabots, Matt Oehrlein.
