Walt Disney World Previews Upcoming Star Wars, Frozen, and Toy Story Attractions

There are a load of exciting attractions that Disney has in store for its parkgoers.

As reported by Fox 6 Now, during a Wednesday media event,, Walt Disney World provided a glimpse of several attractions that it will be adding over the next few years.

First up are the Frozen attractions.

Opening in June is the Frozen Ever After attraction being constructed in Epcot's Norway Pavilion. There will be a new boat tour that will show guests around Arendelle. Parkgoers can also attend Winter in Summer celebration that features a new story after the events of Frozen. Guests can also do a meet-and-greet with Anna and Elsa inside a new "Royal Somerhaus."

It's worth mentioning that Walt Disney Imagineers have even traveled to Norway to make the attraction more epic.

Other attractions previewed is Star Wars Land.

Walt Disney World shared photos and videos on Wednesday showing Star Wars Land under construction at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park, which is expected to open around 2018.

Also previewed is Toy Story Land, where guests can experience getting "shrunk to the size of a toy to explore the world of Andy's backyard with favorite Toy Story characters."

Disney's two new attractions for the land include a kiddie roller coaster named after the adorable slinky dog in the Toy Story films – the Slinky Dog Dash ride.

The other attraction in Toy Story Land is Alien Swirling Saucers, which reportedly appear like a toy set that has "aliens flying around in their toy flying saucers and trying to capture your rocket toy vehicle with ‘The Claw.'"

The new attractions in the Toy Story-themed Land are set to open at a later date.

Disney World's Animal Kingdom Park will also introduce a Jungle Book-themed show called Jungle Book: Alive with Magic. It will serve as a placeholder for the delayed Rivers of Light nighttime show. It's set to debut on Memorial Day.

While all of these previews sound exciting, what I'm looking forward to most is the Star Wars Land attractions, which could potentially have virtual reality rides. For obvious reasons, that would be most awesome!
