Venom's 'So Many Snacks' Line is Actually Lifted Straight from the Comics

While there are so many things to like about the latest Venom trailer, a lot of fans have found themselves conflicted with some of the lines of Venom in the suit. Besides the ‘turd in the wind' line, there's also the bit where he says ‘so many snacks; so little time.' Apparently, that line is lifted straight out of the comics.

According to ComicBookMovie, it comes from The Amazing Spider-Man #374:

I'm sure the revelation that it's actually a line from the comic will ease some fans in on their criticism, and now the ‘turd in the wind' line doesn't look too out of place. Then again, if Sony really wants this movie to work, they better bring a Venom that's not just cool visually, but delivers some great lines as well.

If anything, at least this character is faithful to the comics—besides the origin not tied to Peter Parker.

So far, emotions have been mixed for the upcoming Venom film. On one side, a lot of fans are excited to see a comic-faithful Venom grace the screens for once, but on the other, you have a Venom that's in a cinematic universe which doesn't include Spider-Man.

Hopefully Sony is just withholding some information that we want to know.

Catch Venom when it hits theaters Oct. 5.
