Venom: Did Tom Hardy Confirm Carnage?

The upcoming Venom film with Tom Hardy is definitely one of the more unorthodox comic book adaptations coming out this year. Having a movie based on one of Spider-Man's best villains without actually featuring the wallcrawler has made fans anxious about it, though the cast has gotten more open-minded fans curious. Speaking of villains, Carnage had been rumored as the film's villain for sometime and Tom Hardy might have just confirmed it.

On Twitter, Free Tabarina posted a picture that Tom Hardy shared on Instagram. It was Hardy with Carnage in the background, while the Venom symbiote acts as his clothes. What surprised fans wasn't the image or Hardy sharing it but the fact that the actor had to delete the picture after. This is what has fans of the anti-hero and his demented son buzzing.

Now it could be one of two reasons; either Carnage is in the film and the higher-ups in Sony want it to be a surprise, or he isn't in it and the executives involved told Hardy to pull the image so that fans won't get their hopes up. Either situation is understandable and will likely lead to more debates about the film until a trailer or two has been released.

Venom comes out on October 5, 2018.
