Universal Studios Japan Asks You to Solve an Escape Game With Detective Conan

Have you always wanted to take on the role of Conan Edogawa and have yourself a Detective Conan adventure? Now Universal Studios Japan is giving fans this chance, thanks to the Cool Japan 2017 event series.

According to the Nikkei Asian Review, the Detective Conan the Escape attraction will join previously announced rides from the Attack on Titan, Godzilla, Evangelion, and Monster Hunter franchises to give an even more blockbuster-worthy experience.

For Detective Conan the Escape, fans will be transported to the franchise's world with all the elements to make a great detective hunt and mystery solving ride. In the newest attraction, fans can team up with other players and solve puzzles. The goal is to stop the crime organization from activating a bomb and causing damage.

Participants will also team up with iconic characters Conan Edogawa and fan-favorite Heiji Hattori in their search for clues to solve the mystery.

The attraction will also feature a live performance that will allow for character appearances and stunts from the Detective Conan franchise.

To access the Detective Conan the Escape attraction, theme park goers will need to purchase a separate ticket from the general admission. Fans of the long-running manga and anime franchise will find this to be a worthwhile visit, as it will be the first attraction based on Detective Conan.

Cool Japan 2017 is scheduled at the Universal Studios Japan from Jan. 13 to June 25.
