Tom Hiddleston Surprises As Marvel’s New Thor In What If? Art Piece

It might be difficult to imagine anyone else playing the Marvel Cinematic Universe's iteration of Thor other than Chris Hemsworth, however, a fan-made What If...? art piece has the actor's onscreen brother, Tom Hiddleston, wearing Thor's armor.

Posting on Instagram, digital artist ‘civalet_art' just recently shared self-made concept art for Marvel's upcoming What If..? animated series. In the art piece, we get to see Loki donning Thor's outfit, but this time with beautiful wings on the Asgardian God of Thunder's helmet.

In the post's caption, ‘civalet_art' makes an interesting proposition, asking followers whether they think a Loki-Thor switch up would make a great episode on What If...?

"What if Loki was worthy ? I think this could be a very good episode. What about you ? Would you like to see Loki as the good guy and Thor as the bad one ?" the artist asks in his post.

We wonder what kind of havoc Loki might wreck if he actually became worth of Mjolnir. It's definitely an interesting idea to explore.

There hasn't been that much information about Marvel's What If...? series just yet, but footage for the series shows images of Peggy Carter wielding a vibranium shield as Marvel's Captain Carter, Zombie Captain America, and T'Challa as the Guardians of the Galaxy's Star Lord. There's definitely going to be a lot more surprises in store for fans – though it's probably going to take a while for Marvel to release new images with the COVID-19 pandemic bogging down the production of the studio's upcoming projects.
