Venom 2 is reportedly coming out this year and the Sony/Marvel movie is shaping up to be an interesting sequel. Granted, the first movie was far from a critical darling but it did make a ton of money and we do want to see how the sequel handles Carnage, while maybe even planting the seeds for a Spider-Man appearance in the future. As we wait for more information, all we have is the magic of social media, which has a bunch of fun BTS photos from production.
In a recent post from photographer Greg Williams, Tom Hardy and co-star Woody Harrelson are all smiles as they get ready for more filming. We can only imagine what kind of jokes the two master actors are telling each other; that or something funny happened during filming. Either way, this is an interesting little photo that should make for some fun memes once we see the two fight in their symbiotes.
Considering how Venom is still with Eddie Brock at the end of the first movie, we're all pretty interested in seeing how Cletus Kasidy becomes the mad villain known as Carnage. Will it be through Eddie himself? Or are there more symbiotes that we don't know about? We're gonna have to wait and see, though it should be a fun ride while it lasts.
As of this writing, Venom 2 is currently slated for an October 2 release.
