The Pricey Dragon Ball FighterZ CollectorZ Edition Will Not Come With The Season Pass

Dragon Ball FighterZ is coming out early next year and fighting game enthusiasts are ecstatic. The game boasts amazing visuals and fun gameplay that will likely make it to the esports scene. However, fans that wanted to get the pricey CollectorZ Edition will be disappointed to know that it does not come with the season pass, which adds eight more characters to the game.

Bandai Namco confirmed the news on Twitter, pointing out that the season pass was never advertised for the CollectorZ Edition. This version of the game will come with a steelbook case, art boards, a special box, and a statue of Super Saiyan Goku with manga colors. While those are neat extras, adding the season pass would have made this version of the game more tantalizing.

Priced at $139.99, it would have been great to see the season pass added to the CollectorZ Edition. Individually, the pass is priced at $34.99, so it would have been nice to have all of the DLC in addition to the goodies in the CollectorZ Edition. Hopefully, Bandai Namco changes this, though that's doubtful.

Dragon Ball FighterZ comes out on January 26. The game will be playable on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
