The Power Rangers Cast Members Think The Green Ranger Should Be A Girl

Saban's new Power Rangers film has already been released in theaters so expect spoilers in this article.

In the end credits scene of the film, we learn that the Power Rangers series will be adding the Green Ranger, Tommy Oliver, in the sequel. The character doesn't appear in the end credits scene, just the green jacket, so the role is up for grabs, and the cast of the film wants the character to be played by a girl. Here's what Red Ranger Dacre Montgombery told The Hollywood Reporter:

"A lot of the cast and I have discussed that we think it should be a girl...It makes it even three girls, three boys."

Sure, why not? I was sold at the theory of Rita Repulsa being the Green Ranger before the film was released. It would be an exciting idea to see this kind of change as long as the actress can make the character as cool as the old Green Ranger.
