After a poster made out of nightmares, the cast of X-Men spinoff The New Mutants decided to have fun with a picture that pays homage to ACDC. It's a cute picture and one that fans of the band will enjoy seeing, thanks to the film's director Josh Boone, who seems to have taken the picture and posted it online. Bonus points for the hand puppet seen in the photo, which will be familiar to fans of the X-Men.
Seeing the cast together like this is fun, especially with the horror their characters will be going through next year. Why the cast chose to honor ACDC is anyone's guess but it is a nice picture and Highway to Hell is one of the best rock songs ever made. Maybe the cast will be listening to this before all the scary stuff happens? Either way, it should be fun to see.
The hand puppet is clearly Lockheed, who most fans know as Kitty Pryde's pet dragon. While Lockheed is mostly known as Pryde's partner, he did look after Magik after her experience in Limbo, a place she would eventually rule as its Queen. Does this confirm Lockheed's appearance in the film? Only time will tell.
Fans will be able to see The New Mutants on April 13, 2018.
