The LEGO Batman Movie Just Found Its Joker

Get used to seeing The Joker a lot in the future DC movies. Starting next year, we're going to see Jared Leto as Batman's nemesis in Suicide Squad, and now Variety is reporting that Warner Bros. has chosen Zach Galifianakis (Hangover) to play the classic villain in the The LEGO Batman Movie.

Galifianakis joins Michael Cera, who was recently cast as Robin, and Will Arnett, who's returning as the voice of Batman from The Lego Movie. He's best known for playing Alan Garner in The Hangover trilogy, and I think he's a great choice to voice The Joker in The Lego Batman Movie.

Chris McKay, The LEGO Movie's animation supervisor, is directing from a script by Seth Grahame-Smith. Dan Lin, Roy Lee, Phil Lord and Christopher Miller are producing.

The LEGO Batman Movie will be released in theaters on February 10, 2017.
