The Last Jedi’s Trailer Release Speculated To Bring Another Star Wars Treat

It looks like Star Wars fans might be in for another treat when Lucasfilm releases the first full trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

There has been a lot of speculation going around that the first full preview of the highly anticipated Force Awakens sequel would be making its debut on Monday next week on October 9.

Back in September, Mark Hamill toldfans on Twitter to "Watch Monday Night Football on Monday, October 9th – for no reason in particular" and last week Star Wars News Net reported that a source confirmed the Star Wars legend's little hint.

Now, new reports reveal that advanced tickets to The Last Jedi could also go on sale during the release of the film's new trailer. Though Lucasfilm has not announced the sale date of the tickets just yet, Slash Film speculates that tickets to The Last Jedi could very well be made available during Monday Night Football next Monday.

Apparently, Lucasfilm had also made tickets to The Force Awakens available for pre-order on the same date the studio dropped a new trailer for the sequel trilogy's first installment which was during the ESPN Monday Night Football halftime on October 19.

It's very likely that Lucasfilm would follow the same pattern this year, dropping the trailer on Monday night and making tickets to The Last Jedi available for pre-order. If not, then we've probably been duped again by the jokester, Hamill. Let's just wait and see.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi premieres December 15, 2017.
