The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was initially set for release on Disney+ this month. However, the coronavirus pandemic caused production delays resulting in the highly-anticipated series to fall out of the streaming service's release lineup. That said, a new rumor bears good news, suggesting that the Disney+ show along with other projects are gearing up to resume filming soon.

According to Murphy's Multiverse, crew members have returned work in Atlanta this week to begin the preparation for the "resumption (or in some cases the beginning) of filming." Crews for shows The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, Loki, and Hawkeye have reportedly moved back in town to "get the ball rolling again."

As you can see, omitted from the list is WandaVision, with the outlet saying that they "continue to hear they have work to complete in Los Angeles."

While this is only a rumor, this ought to get the fans excited and ease them of worries for the upcoming Marvel series. If the shows do end up resuming filming very soon, it could also mean that there are some updates and more details that'll eventually arrive.

With The Falcon and the Winter Soldier delayed, there's still no word whether WandaVision, Hawkeye, and Loki will face a change in their release dates as well. However, this rumor could give fans an idea of the shows' potential timeline.
