Linda Hamilton hasn't been in a Terminator movie since the 90s, but she's coming back as Sarah Connor in Tim Miller's upcoming Terminator 6. Some new set photos have come out of Hamilton, and she is looking armed and dangerous.

Besides Hamilton, Arnold Schwarzenegger is also coming back as another old T-800. Though Genisys wasn't really that critically praised, it did provide a great explanation on why the T-800 actually "ages." The endoskeleton is still mechanical, but the biological coating still functions like a normal body, hence old Arnie.
Much like the Star Wars franchise, the new Terminator films are said to be focusing on a whole new cast with the original actors taking supporting roles. That seems to be the ongoing trend these days with sequel/reboots; Harrison Ford basically did the same thing for both The Force Awakens and Blade Runner 2049.
As for the cast of the new Terminator film, it's said that MacKenzie Davis is being approached as the new face of the franchise. Gabriel Luna will also be introduced in the film as the new model of terminator. Let's hope he can trump the latest one introduced which was a terminator made of nanobots.
