Telltale Games’ Guardians of the Galaxy Details Revealed, Villain Confirmed

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is the next narrative foray for the developer in the Marvel franchise. Telltale Games has often been linked to narrative stories with decision-based progression and great storylines. And now, the space misfits are definitely heading to fans' consoles.

Announced via IGN, the first episode, titled Tangled Up in Blue, will be out on April 18. This will be the first of five episodes—a very familiar format for those who have played other titles from the developer. Those who are expecting to play every single episode would do better with a season pass, already announced to arrive on May 2 in North America and May 5 internationally.

When you do get the game, be prepared to face off with what could be the Marvel universe's ultimate Big Bad: the Mad Titan himself. He will be at least one of the antagonists for the series, and from the sample art below, he's already menacing.

A trailer is expected to drop for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series but from the looks of it, the basic format will pretty much follow the likes of The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series is heading to the PS4, Xbox One, PC, iOS, and Android for $4.99.
