Team Rocket Uniforms Now Available in Pokémon GO

In a move, that many players will appreciate, Pokemon GO has introduced Team Rocket uniforms for the mobile game's custom avatars. Niantic had previously added a few new attires based on the game's achievements, so to see more options this quickly is encouraging. Players better save up their Pokecoins since the outfits are a wee bit expensive, which is what microtransactions are for.

Announced on the game's official Twitter account, players have two choices of Team Rocket suits. There is the classic versions that appeared in Pokemon Red and Blue, as well as Gold and Silver. Current 3DS players will be very happy to know that the second option is the Team Rainbow Rocket uniforms seen in Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon.

Team Rocket is the most iconic villain group of the entire Pokemon series. Despite only appearing in two (now three) main games, they remain a constant presence in the anime, thanks to the bumbling antics of Jesse, James, and Meowth. Unfortunately, their white uniforms aren't part of the package, though they could become additional outfits in the next few updates.

Buying a complete Team Rocket uniform will cost 950 Pokecoins. Oddly enough, the female belt and skirt are separate purchases at 100 Pokecoins each.

Pokemon GO is available now on iOS and Android as a free download, with in-game purchases for those that want more content.
